Teaching went well

Hello everyone!

Here is an update.

Praise report: On Tuesday I taught my first class session- it went really well! The students were very engaged and they seemed to understand the subject material very readily. I was able to prepare for it well during study break. (Not to mention resolve the technology issues and get a lot of other work done. Praise!)

Lee, one of the professors here, will soon go back to Vanuatu for two Bible Dedication ceremonies. He and his wife have been working with these people for many many years. In the little time that there is left, there is still a huge amount of audio recording editing work to do for the audio Bibles that will be distributed at the events. Many students and staff have been rallying around to help, but there is still much work to do. To complicate matters, his wife fell the other day and broke both wrists. This looks like oppression from the enemy- it is often noticeably worse in the months leading up to a project’s completion. Please join me in prayer for his wife’s recovery and the completion of preparations for the dedication ceremonies, including the audio Bibles. Please pray that he and his team would be able to be protected from attacks against the evil one.

…As far as I am concerned, please pray for me as I prepare to start and finish some larger assignments that will be due next week and the week following: A presentation for Discourse Analysis, and a word study paper for Hebrew.

Thank you so much for your prayers. You people are so awesome!

God bless,

Alex
